You’ll throw the item if you use it at the wrong place, making me avoid using it most of the time. Using key items (shovel, trowel, and others) are a bit tricky. There is always that aha moment when I managed to solve them. Still, they are not really hard to figure out once you know what to do. I found some levels to be harder than others because I didn’t understand the clues. Sometimes, I didn’t know how to figure out the obscure hints or how to solve a puzzle despite having the clues in hand. The hints are helpful to some extent, but it feels useless waiting for new cards when the one that you got told you what you already knew.Īs for the difficulty, it depends on your understanding of the clues. I admit that I got stuck a lot of times on some levels. The length between levels varies based on how good you are, but the game will give a different type of completion if you manage to finish them within the 15-minute mark. Some objects are hidden beneath other objects, forcing you to figure out how to open them to get what you are looking for. I’m glad that finding these aren’t needed to finish the game. Moreover, there is no hint or whatsoever that can help you to find them. To be honest, I didn’t like hunting for these since they are very hard to find. Most of them are hidden in the least unexpected places, forcing you to explore every object in detail. Eight collectibles are hidden throughout the levels for you to find. If you want more out of the game, it also offers collectibles. There might be some that require you to do the same initial steps, but the concepts are usually different. The variance of the puzzles given in the levels won’t make you bored from solving them. You need to figure out how they work most of the time, relying on other objects that can give you information about it. You can pin key items to make it easier to solve the puzzles. The thing is, the cards might give you clues on what you already figured out, and you need to wait for a certain interval to get a new card. Hints will be offered in the form of cards to give additional clues on how to escape the room. It’s also your job to figure out the instructions from the available objects, by the way.ĭespite the existence of the hint button, it doesn’t seem to be helpful if you already figured out most of the clues. Your brain will be tested as the game challenges you with logic puzzles with no instructions. You need to explore the whole room, trying to find clues hidden beneath the objects to find anything that can help you to fulfill your objective. You’ll play in a locked room with one objective: to escape. The game is played out similar to escape rooms. The environment looks cute with its bright color palette although objects are still made in great detail to make it look as similar as to how it should be. Each level in the area looks different, yet connected somehow, giving you the impression that you are moving between places doing an unknown objective. Escape Simulator is played in 4 different themed areas.

I had a meeting in Greenfield this afternoon and got back to the farm just after dark. We've reached the time of year when there just aren't enough daylight minutes at day's end. Today kicks off our Solstice KAL featuring our winter 2012 Sheep Shares yarn and fiber – Cormo Silk Alpaca. Everyone was dry this morning and the barn was full of sheep and donk poop piles – not our favorite way to start the day but a good sign that all critters felt "at home" in the barn during the stormy night. From the looks of things, the critters peacefully shared a cozy barn. Wind, snow and rain rolled in last night. It's a very good thing they are feeling more companionable toward each other. But by later in the day, they were comfortably ambling about with no worries. As you can see, the two groups kept some distance from each other at first. We turned out the sheep and donks together and fed them in the field. It was a peacable pasture yesterday morning at breakfast. This may not seem like a big deal but Sol is one wary, independent dude. Most recently, he's started taking corn from a scoop held in Mike's hand. He loves sharing hay with the sheep (above) and hanging out with his pal – our guard llama Caitlyn (below). Since then he has contentedly made Springdelle farm his home. Sol came to us on a snowy December morning in 2010. On the solstice we celebrated our rescue llama Sol's (tall, dark & handsome guy in first pic above) second anniversary at the farm. Milestone #2- Happy Anniversery to our Sol Llama! We're keeping fingers crossed that Zoe too will soon be able to join us for hikes and outings. And below, a glimpse of my Christmas afternoon hike with Farley. Here's a pic of Zoe the couch potato (above) on Christmas morning. Also, much love and thanks to our good friends Dick, Gale and Jackson for taking Farley into your home so Zoe could rest. Kurt Shulz and the staff at Peak Veterinary Referral Center in Burlington, VT for taking such good care of Zoe. It was a very happy family reunion for all! Her positive report also meant that Farley, her brother who has been staying with friends for the 8 week window of her recovery, could come home again. This is one of the best gifts we could ask for. Although she still has along road to rehab ahead, she appears to be walking without lameness. Her xrays on December 19th hold promise – good healing from the surgery. As some of you may know, she's been convalescing from radical surgery back in October to address severe degenerative joint disease in her right elbow. The week before Christmas, we had some encouraging news for our Zoe, our 1 year old Golden Retriever. Milestone #1 – Hooray for Zoe and Welcome Home, Farley! We celebrated arrivals and marked several milestones this season. Mike and I celebrated the holidays quietly at home this year, enjoying the company of our flock, dogs, llamas, goat, donkeys – and each other. Sam and Dante’s investigation in England has been the most I’ve enjoyed these two together, and it’s probably because it’s not about them! Finally, the secret is out that Ryan is Esme’s father, and with Heather on the run with him and Esme, someone’s got to put the pieces together about her mother’s identity. We’d just have to forget about those pesky forensics people being able to tell the time of death. However, this could be a golden opportunity to frame Ryan for killing Nikolas. Plus we still don’t know what the deal with Mason and their mysterious lady boss is. Now we know they aren’t going to kill him off once he’s finally started to become a tad interesting. And how about the ferry to Spoon Island? Is the captain just on call 24 hours to take anyone there at any time of day, including escaped convicts? Despite some of the things that make you go hmm… this storyline has really given the vets a chance to shine, and some long overdue screen time.īy the end of Friday’s episode, Austin had returned to the main house only to apparently be hooked by Heather. Hopefully, he found something to do with Nikolas’ body, as the cops are sure to swarm the place soon as Laura has an inkling where Ryan is. As Ryan taunted Ava and Felicia, Austin took his time getting back to the house. I joked in last week’s column if they waited too long he’d start stinking up the place. Over at Wyndemere, Felicia, and later Ryan’s arrival brought Ava and Austin’s plan to finally do something about Nikolas’ body grinding to a halt. Heather gifts her lover with a Valentine’s Day present. Though given the emotional trauma she’s going through now, one has to wonder if this will trigger her memory to return. More: New crime drama Blood and Money set to premiereĮsme’s reaction to Ryan killing the guard, and learning he was her father, seems to confirm that she’s not faking her amnesia. I also chuckled when Heather told Ryan, “Strip lover,” after he knifed the guard so Ryan could take his clothes. Heather complaining of having to do all the work while Ryan lounged about in his chair was hilarious, as was her taking back the valentine she made for him when he got nasty with her. Jon Lindstrom and Alley Mills play off each other beautifully as a pair of crazy psychos, who have a knack for adding humor to their scenes. Ryan and Heather’s escape, with a terrified Esme dragged along, were some crazy good scenes… pun intended. I’m interested in seeing how Curtis, Trina and Taggert will react to Jordan knowing the secret for some time now. Portia tried to throw herself a pitty party, but no one wanted to attend. Taggert telling Trina no matter what that he’d always be his daughter was touching, but honestly, how was he staying so cool? Curtis on the other hand let his lying bride know exactly how he felt. To have Trina be the one to tell Curtis and Taggert her mother’s secret, not even giving Portia the chance to finally do the right thing, was also a brilliant stroke of storytelling. Trina didn’t hold anything back in tearing into her mother! (ABC screenshot) One of her best lines was in her response to Portia saying finding out the truth didn’t seem to be important at the time… “Not important? You’re a doctor!” The younger cast is really knocking it out of the park these days. Tabyana Ali gave a phenomenal performance in her reaction to the idea that Curtis could be her father and in lashing out at her mother for keeping this from her for her entire life. More: Ellen Pompeo not leaving Grey’s Anatomy just yet Trina going to Aunt Stella, and Stella telling her that her mother had a secret she’d been keeping, was a fantastic way to set up Trina to be the one to force Portia to finally spit it out. Plus, we finally had a Yuri sighting after so long!Īs the wedding and reception dragged on, we were all waiting for the real fireworks to begin. There is even a branch from the property owner’s Madrone Tree hanging on the wall -just because it’s cool. The living room ties it all together with large leather easy chairs, a leather sofa, wood burning stove, large ceiling fans, and a breathtaking views of East Corazón Peak. The large kitchen has ample counter and cabinet space, glass top electric range and oven, microwave, coffee maker, large fridge, bar counter, and a large picture window with a fantastic view of Jack Eden Mesa and crystal valley. The master bedroom has a really comfortable queen bed with high quality linens and a bedframe that was hand built from a persimmon tree.
